<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating waste water, in which waste water can be treated suitably. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for treating waste water is provided with: a basket 11 for removing residues in waste water; a net 13 for separating suspended solids in the waste water passing through the basket 11; a sheetlike oil adsorbing material 15 for adsorbing/removing oils and fats in the waste water passing through the net 13; and an adsorbing/decomposing means 16 for adsorbing organic matter in the waste water passing through the oil adsorbing material 15 on activated coal 27 and decomposing the adsorbed organic matter by an aerobic microbe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
