ALTERNATING-CURRENT POWER GENERATOR AND LINEAR MOTOR, STIRLING REFRIGERATOR, AND LINEAR COMPRESSOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternating-current power generator and the like wherein alternating-current power can be efficiently used without changing a frequency by varying the shape of alternating current waveform.

SOLUTION: The alternating-current generator includes: an inverter circuit that converts direct-current power into alternating-current power; and a microcomputer that PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controls the inverter circuit. The microcomputer carries out such PWM control as to keep the frequency of the entire alternating current waveform at a predetermined value, and further make the period of positive waveform of alternating-current power and the period of negative waveform of alternating-current power different from each other.
