<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve positively reducing open and close valve bounce of a valve member and reducing the lower limit value of stable injection quantity. <P>SOLUTION: This invented valve member reciprocates between a valve close position closing an injection hole and a valve open position opening the injection hole and is provided with a valve member velocity control means controlling valve member velocity at a time of reciprocation by changing viscosity of variable viscosity fluid arranged near the valve member.
