METHOD FOR DETECTING SPECIFIC BASE SEQUENCE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ELONGATION REACTION OF PRIMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which whether or not a specific base sequence exists in a target nucleic acid is accurately detected by a simple method.

SOLUTION: A sample solution comprising a target nucleic acid, a primer that is a primer for amplifying a specific base sequence and to which a thiol group is added at the terminal and a nucleotide is prepared. Then, the sample solution is subjected to PCR reaction. A volume component Z" of impedance is assayed by using the sample solution after the reaction. Whether a specific base sequence is contained in the target nucleic acid (reference to an alternate long and short dash line part) or not (reference to a dotted line part) is judged on the basis of the assayed result of the volume component Z".
