<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve load precision at the time of crimping a component for a wide range from low load to high load without enlarging a head main body. <P>SOLUTION: A crimping head 1 is provided with a first pressing means (air cylinder) 18 crimping a component held by a crimping tool (cylinder rod) 19 in a first load range, a second pressing means (voice coil motor) 13 moving the first pressing means in a coaxial direction and crimping the component held by the crimping tool 19 in a second load range different from the first load range, a first regulation means (stopper) 16 causing the second pressing means to abut on the first pressing means and regulating relative movement of the first pressing means to the second pressing means at the time of crimping by the first pressing means and a second regulation means 18A regulating relative movement of the crimping tool 19 to the first pressing means 18 at the time of crimping by the second pressing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
