PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile device for a color image and a program, wherein the quality of the color image printed on a reception side is maintained substantially in such a degree of no problems and a consumed amount of a color material of a toner or ink for a color can be curtailed. SOLUTION: In the facsimile device for the color image, color image data sent from a sending side is received and an image is printed on an output paper based on the color image data. This facsimile device comprises: a converting means which comprises a receiving control part 201 and a chroma/lightness adjusting setup part 203 configured to decrease a chroma in a direction of enhancing a lightness about the received color image data; and a printing part 202 configured to print the image data after conversion which is obtained by the converting means on the output paper.
