PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a holder of a function element on the outer case of a household appliance, e.g. on the side wall by positioning it to correctly fit, or securing an interval on the side wall to the components inside the appliance when there are varieties of appliances. SOLUTION: The function element holder of this invention is a holder for an electric appliance having a control panel 3. It has a fixture 4 facing the function panel 3 of the appliance and fixing a function element or a display element 7, and a spacer 5 which is connected to the fixture 4 in a manner free to move and fixed to the appliance.
