PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving mechanism that can prevent the play of a transmission member in a torque limiter mechanism through a simple structure and that can surely transmit a driving force of a driving source to an outputting axis, and also to provide a torque limiter mechanism. SOLUTION: The lens driving mechanism includes an AF motor, an outputting axis 33 which has a joint section with a lens barrel and which is freely rotatably installed, and a motive power transmitting means which has a torque limiter mechanism 50 and which transmits the driving force of the AF motor to the outputting axis. The torque limiter mechanism 50 is composed of a clutch spring 36 and a housing section 350 which is formed on the inner circumferential side of a worm wheel 35 to store the clutch spring 36. The clutch spring 36 is composed of a clamping section 361 which is wound on the outputting axis 33 to hold it and a pair of leg sections 362 which project both ends outward. The housing section 350 is provided with a plurality of pairs of end faces (restraining part) 356 which can be engaged with the pair of leg sections 362 of the clutch spring 36 and which have a different space from each other.
