摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable reluctance type angle detector capable of reducing noise effects by reducing the resistance of exciting winding and increasing exciting current, without raising the exciting source voltage. SOLUTION: A stator 3 has an exciting coil 5 which has a plurality of teeth 2 formed inward separated at mutual intervals in the circumferential direction and is formed by winding a conductor on the teeth 2, respectively and excited with a power source, and an output coil 6 for (a) phase which outputs the variation of magnetic flux density as voltage. A rotor 4 is constituted of an iron core, having a shape, of which the gap permeance with the stator 3 varies as a sine wave. By connecting the exciting coils 5 formed in different teeth 2 in series in the circumferential direction, a plurality of exciting coil groups are formed, and each other of the exciting coil groups is connected in parallel to form an exciting winding 9.
