摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device for a glass optical element where, even if the swelling-out of a molded article from an upper mold is slight, release can be securely performed, and further, the production of a glass optical element can be performed at high productive efficiency without generating failures in quality. SOLUTION: The molding device where a glass optical element is molded using a pair of molds is provided with: a means of releasing the adhesion between a molded optical element and the molds at the time of the sliding operation in an opening direction of the molds; and a means of operating the adhesion releasing means in a direction orthogonal to the mold sliding direction. The adhesion releasing means is contacted with the molds, and at least a part thereof moves within the range of 1 to 150μm with the outer circumferences of the driving molds.
