PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door device capable of preventing a car from being lifted while nipping foreign matter in a door body. SOLUTION: A first contact bar 31a is connected to a first car door body 13 via a pair of parallel links 30. The first contact bar 31a has a first contact bar body 33a, and a first additional operation piece (a lower side detecting part) 34a installed in a lower end part of the first contact bar body 33a. The first additional operation piece 34a is arranged so as to block up a space between a lower part of the first contact bar body 33a and an upper surface of a car threshold 9 when viewed from the front of the first car door body 13.
