PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize air-fuel ratio in relation to each of combustion chambers by providing a control valve controller for automatically operating one or more fuel control valves. SOLUTION: A fuel system for a gas turbine 10 comprises a plurality of combustion chambers 14, a plurality of fuel nozzles 16, 18 and 20 related to each of the combustion chambers, and a plurality of manifolds 22, 24 and 26 for supplying fuel to at least one fuel nozzle in each of the combustion chambers. Each of the manifolds has a fuel control valve 28, 30 or 32, and the fuel control valves are fitted to a plurality of manifolds to measure the fuel to the fuel nozzle inside the combustion chamber. The control valve controller 50 is provided to automatically operate one or more fuel control valves to control the fuel to the fuel nozzle on the basis of operating conditions 100, 120 and 140 of the gas turbine.
