PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient radial flow type steam turbine capable of suppressing loss due to steam leakage. SOLUTION: This radial flow type steam turbine includes: a pair of plate members 7, 9 opposed to each other, arranged in the direction substantially perpendicular to turbine shafts 3, 5; and a plurality of blade steps 11a to 11c and 13a to 13c that are provided on the opposing face of the pair of plate members 7, 9, alternately facing the inner circumference and the outer circumference. In the radial flow type steam turbine, steam flows from the inner circumference part toward the outer circumference part through the blade steps 11a to 11c and 13a to 13c. Fins 17 are provided between each of the blade steps 11a to 11c and 13a to 13c so that steam is prevented from flowing in the axial direction of the turbine in each gap between the blade steps.
