PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control driving force corresponding to driving form when the driving form is not directly inputted into an electronic controller (ECU) in a four-wheel driving vehicle capable of switching its driving form into two-wheel driving. SOLUTION: Whether driving form is two-wheel driving or four-wheel driving is determined based on deviation of a wheel speed of front wheels FL, FR and wheel speed of rear wheels RL, RR. Weight of a driving wheel shaft is set based on the result to obtain the maximum road surface torque value, amount of torque reduction is computed from it to obtain engine torque corresponding to amount of vehicle condition, and an engine is controlled based on the engine torque to stabilize a vehicle.
