PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing forgetting closing of an outside window for a double window capable of preventing failure of an inside window due to forgetting closing of the outside window. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a first sensor 110 for detecting opening of the outside window 12, a second sensor 112 for detecting closing of the inside window 14, an alarm generator 114, and a CPU 116 for controlling the alarm generator 114 based on detection signals from the first sensor 110 and the second sensor 112. The CPU 116 controls the alarm generator 114 to give alarm when a detection signal for indicating that the outside window 12 is opened is outputted from the first sensor 110 and a detection signal for indicating that the inside window 14 is closed is outputted from the second sensor 112. Consequently, since alarm is immediately given from the alarm generator 114 when the inside window 14 is closed while the outside window 12 is opened, a resident can confirm that the outside window 12 is opened.
