PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for enclosing and sealing a plate-like article with a simple structure and a reduced number of components, capable of enclosing and sealing the plate-like article in a packaging bag for packaging. SOLUTION: The packaging bag 1 for packaging mounted on a mount table 13 is sucked and held by a suction device 14 and mounted on a belt 12 of a moving table 11, and after it is stopped by a shutter 20 of a stopper 21 provided on the moving table, the opening of the bag 1 is opened by an upper suction device 22 and a lower suction device. A CD-ROM 15 set on a setting table 16 is sucked and held by a suction device 17 and mounted on the belt, moved by the belt, and stored in the packaging bag. A locking part formed of a turning metal fitting on the packaging bag is folded to hold the CD-ROM, and then a pressing part 2 is pushed in by a piston 25 to press the locking part. Thereafter, the shutter is lifted and the packaging bag with the CD-ROM enclosed and sealed is put in a finishing basket 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
