PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaust gas in an engine room from drifting on an uppermost deck, and from refluxing into the engine room from an outside air intake port for the engine room when an automobile carrying vessel receives tail winds in an automobile carrying vessel with a tip end of an engine room exhaust pipe positioned near an intake port of an engine room ventilation device. SOLUTION: A blast pipe connected with a blowing device commonly used for a freight hold ventilation facility positioned on a bow side of the outside air intake port for the engine room with a tip end opened toward a stern side and a base end positioned on an uppermost deck is installed to an automobile carrying vessel comprising an engine room exhaust pipe projected on a vessel funnel with a tip end bent toward the stern side, and the outside air intake port for the engine room positioned on the uppermost deck and on the bow side of the vessel funnel. In this structure, fresh outside air discharged and energized from the tip end of the blast pipe is blown to the engine room exhaust gas discharged to atmosphere from the engine room exhaust pipe, so as to send the engine room exhaust gas in the stern direction.
