PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquarium filter arrangement which includes a filter housing and has improved safety and convenience. SOLUTION: The aquarium filter arrangement includes the filter housing, a filter cartridge 16 positionable within a filter chamber of the filter housing, a hinged cover 14 connected to the filter housing and guides 60, 70 located above the filter chamber. The hinged cover 14 is designed to collect condensation when the cover is in an open position and empty the collected condensation into the filter chamber when the cover is closed.
