PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium of mushroom in which yield per mushroom bed medium is increased and uniform mushrooms having high quality are obtained by eliminating a bank of mycelial masses of the shoulder parts in the circumference of the upper surface of culture medium which occurs in growing process of mycelium of mushroom and a hollow in the center area of the upper surface of the culture medium which occurs in growing process of mushroom and maximally enlarging the surface area of the culture medium which becomes a state suitable for occurrence and growth of the mushroom. SOLUTION: In the mushroom culture medium, a volume-reducing space 4 in which growth height of mycelial masses produced in the shoulder part in the circumference of the upper surface 3 in growing process of the mycelium reaches a volume and a shape not exceeding height of the upper surface in which the mycelial masses of the culture medium is not produced is formed in the shoulder part in the circumference of the upper surface 3 in a block-like culture medium 1 for culturing a mushroom bed and further, a volume-increasing culture medium 5 in which a raised part which becomes a volume and a shape in which a hollow is not formed in the center area when the culture medium shrinks in the growing process of mushroom is formed is provided in the part of the upper surface 3.
