<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use optimum video contents in response to the environment of each user. <P>SOLUTION: The registration of the video contents is requested from a user terminal to a server. The server converts the video contents, whose registration is requested by the user terminal, into a plurality of file forms and a plurality of sizes and stores them in a video contents storage means. The designation of the video display operation of the video contents is received from another user terminal. Environment information of each user terminal is acquired from a terminal environment storage means, which stores the environment information, i.e., the communication environment and terminal environment of each user, on the basis of the user ID of the user terminal where the video display operation is designated.
