<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sea tangle three-dimensionally expressing a delicate letter and pattern without elimination even by dipping in hot water or cooking without relying on dyeing. <P>SOLUTION: A dried sea tangle is irradiated with laser beams and irradiated parts are peeled and removed by utilizing a difference in swelling of the irradiated part and a non-irradiated part in a liquid. The three-dimensional letter and pattern are expressed by expression of unevennesses.
