<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth and quick start of a fuel cell system even under low temperature environments without increasing the structure size. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a reactant gas heat exchanger 31 in which an air supplied to fuel cell stacks 11 after humidified in a WRD 12 is selectively heated or cooled in a such way that the heat exchange medium of an air conditioning system for vehicles is alternatively supplied. Wherein when the system is started under low temperature environments at temperatures below a predetermined preset temperature, the air is warmed with the reactant gas heat exchanger 31, and when the system is operation-stopped, the air is cooled and dehumidified by the reactant gas heat exchanger 31, thereby performing dehumidification and drying procedure for air-flow passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
