PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of early restarting communication after a lapse of a non communication period. SOLUTION: A master task of a master node disclosed herein has a function of transmitting a header HMdmy and a response RMdmy to a slave node as dummy data with a data length equivalent to a time longer than a time required for time-out processing. Since the header HMdmy and the response RMdmy arrive in the slave node as the dummy data prior to substantially required data HMn from the master node, there is a case that the slave node cannot receive the data HMn transmitted from the master node for a prescribed time or over, even when the slave node executes the time-out processing after a lapse of the non communication period as above, the arrival of the data to the slave node is limited to only the header HMdmy and the response RMdmy as the dummy data during execution of the time-out processing.
