PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-retentive pavement structure which can appropriately maintain a water-retention function. SOLUTION: A road 1 comprises: a water supply layer 2; a water-retention layer 3 which is stacked above the water supply layer 2; a water supply pipe 4 which is arranged in the center of the road 1 and which serves as a water supply means; a curb 5 which is installed along a side end of the water supply layer 2 and that of the water-retention layer 3; water sealing sheets 6 which are each superposed among the curb 5, the water supply layer 2 and the water-retention layer 3; and a seepage control layer 7 which is provided below the water supply layer 2. The water supply layer 2 of them comprises an open-graded asphalt mixture layer 21 inside which a continuous void is provided, silica sand 22 which serves as a water supply material infilled into the continuous void, and a water sealing joint 23 which serves as a water sealing member provided in the crossing direction of the road 1 so as to divide the water supply layer 2 into sections.
