PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road-surface cutting method for forming a loop-sensor embedding groove section of a road for a vehicle or an aerodrome, which can minimize a traffic control area, can shorten a construction time and can keep an equipment cost and a construction cost low, and a traffic information control system using the road-surface cutting method. SOLUTION: The loop-sensor embedding groove section 1 with a predetermined width, which has a looped plane and an arc-shaped cross section and which is used for embedding the loop sensor LS for sensing the passing vehicle, is provided in a desired position on the road surface of a roadway by using a road-surface cutter for circularly cutting the road surface.
