METHOD FOR PRODUCING FABRIC AND MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant fabric and provide a manufacturing equipment and a method for producing such fabrics. SOLUTION: Since it has a copper-made conductive layer on the woven base fabric, the fabric 5 has the electromagnetic wave-shielding properties. Further, the conductive layer 3 supported by the fabric 5 is coated with the covering layer 4 made of flame-retardant silicone resin so that it may not by exposed to outside. By providing this coating layer 4, at least one of the oxygen or the heat needed for burning the base cloth constituting the fabric 5 is shielded. Thereby the burning down of the base cloth can be prevented regardless to the kind of the base cloth and a fabric having excellent flame retardancy can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
