PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic carrier having excellent efficiency of storing articles and safely and easily performing work to take in/out the articles and to provide a pneumatic carrier having excellent efficiency of storing articles, safely and easily performing work to take in/out the articles and favorably maintaining airtightness inside a pneumatic tube. SOLUTION: The pneumatic carrier has a pair of semicylindrical bodies of which one sides are connected by hinge members. The semicylindrical bodies have semiarch bands on the outer periphery in the vicinity of the both ends of the semicylindrical bodies, respectively. In one sides of the semicylindrical bodies, excluding band mounting parts to which the semiarch bands are mounted, to secure a gap sufficient to prevent hands of an operator from being strongly sandwiched between the one sides of the semicylindrical bodies when the semicylindrical bodies are opened at 180°, flat relief faces are formed. The hinge members are provided on the relief faces such that a hinge shaft is positioned in the vicinity of an arc line along the outer periphery of a cylindrical container. In the hinge members, opening regulating parts abutting on each other when the semicylindrical bodies are opened at 180°are provided so as to be protruded from the relief faces.
