PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently eliminate insulation film attached to slide surfaces of a slip ring and a brush in an energization mechanism mainly comprising the slip ring and the brush, required for winding and rewinding a belt in which mutually insulated wires are embedded, connecting a carriage main body of a carriage for a suspended type lifting conveyance device to a lifter around a drum provided on the carriage main body. SOLUTION: As the slip ring 13c and the brush 13e as main component elements of the energization mechanism are set on a cleaning device, or as they are set on the carriage main body, the slip ring 13c is rotated at higher rotation speed than rotation speed of the drum for the belt when an OHT carriage is operated. Simultaneously, cleaning liquid, that is preferably organic solvent such as isopropyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol is properly injected to the slide surfaces of the slip ring 13c and the brush 13e.
