PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filing method of an important document or a pack capable of easily and certainly recognizing that the important document 4 is forged, counterfeited or falsified or a content 5 in the pack 6 is replaced and effectively avoiding a disadvantageous result by discriminating the truth by an inexpensive means. SOLUTION: This filing method constitutes its characteristic feature of filing the important document 4 or the pack 6 storing the important document 5 in it with a staple 1 by engraving specific information 2 of letter, figures, marks, etc. on a surface of the staple 1.
