PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which can be easily put on shorts though it is thin. SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 of this invention is practically vertically long and is as thin as 0.5-2mm. A strip 6 for shape keeping with rigidity sufficient for improving the rigidity of the absorptive article 1 is arranged along the vertical center line of the absorptive article 1, and the length of the strip 6 for shape keeping is 70-100% of the entire length of the absorptive article 1. A surface to face clothes is constituted of a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3, and a liquid-holding absorbent 4 is arranged on the inner surface side of the rear surface sheet 3.
