PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from slipping under an easy-to-slip state when a road surface is frozen with rain or snow, and therefore, to prevent an accident such as the tumbling of the user from occurring. SOLUTION: This walking stick comprises a walking stick body 1 of which the final end section 2 is formed into a tubular shape, and an anti-slip body which has a nail-like ferrule with a pointed lower end, and also, the upper part of which can slide on the terminal end section 2 of the body 1. The walking stick has an approximately C-shaped guide groove which communicates from the vicinity of the terminal end section 2 of the walking stick body 1 to the walking stick body 1, and the internal end is screw-fitted with or fixed to the anti-slip body.
