PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of shakiness between a top board and leg elements in a furniture with the top board which is formed by combining the top board and the leg elements without using a tool. SOLUTION: A desk A or the furniture with the top board has the top board 1 and a pedestal 2 and a leg (illustration is omitted) or the leg elements A1 disposed at both left and right sides of the top board 1 to support it and is formed by combining the top board 1 and the leg elements A1 without using the tool, wherein a tapered combination section T which has an engagement projection 65 having a tapered surface 652a and a receiving hole 13x to be engaged with the engagement projection 65 is disposed between the top board 1 and the leg elements A1 to prohibit the lateral movement of the leg elements A1 in the engagement situation to make the engagement projection 65 and the receiving hole 13x to be engaged with each other.
