The procedure for the applying of a tear-off thread (3) on a plastic film (4) which serves as a wrapping of goods, whereby the thread is drawn from one driven roll (2) and plastic film from another driven roll (1), entails creating a friction interaction between the rolls, with one roll driven by an external drive. The friction interaction is created by the plastic film and tear-off thread. The rolls lie one on top of the other. A slip is provided in the friction interaction. An independent claim is included for a device to carry out the proposed procedure. |
