IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the productivity from falling down when inserting paper for single-sided image forming and double-sided image forming at the same time.

SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus has an image read means having a function to read an original and to generate the image data, an image forming means to selectively supply the paper stored in either one of the trays and to form the image corresponding to the above image data on both sides of the recording paper, an instruction input means having a function to receive the instruction whether to form the image on both sides or on one side of the recording paper, and a control which controls the image reading in the above image read means and the image forming in the above forming means. The above control controls the above image forming means to form the image of the image data acquired by reading in a state that the single-sided image forming and the double-sided image forming are performed at the same time following the instruction of the above instruction input means.
