<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of intake air interference and provide intake air inertia effect with a small and simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An inside of a collector 12 is partitioned to upper and lower by a partition wall 13 in a four cylinder horizontal opposed engine. Branches 51, 52 going to a first cylinder and a second cylinder are branched from a lower collector 14b, and branches 53, 54 going to a third cylinder and a fourth cylinder are branched from an upper collector 14a. A first open close valve 16 is provided on an inlet of the lower collector 14b and a second open close valve is provided on a communication part 15 making communication between the upper collector 14a and the lower collector 14b.
