<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical line head which adjusts an imaging position at a face to be irradiated, by an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical line head images an emitted light from array light sources 72 and 73 of a line shape aligned in two or more arrays in a sub scanning direction of a substrate 62, at the face to be irradiated by using an optical system of an erect equal magnification. An interval in the sub scanning direction of spots formed when the light radiated from the array light source of each array is imaged on the face to be irradiated is set to be different from an interval of the array light sources, for each array of the array light sources aligned in the two or more arrays.
