PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly suppress the malfunction that may occur followed by optimally controlling combustion start timing based on a combustion ratio in a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 to generate power by burning fuel and air mixture in the combustion chamber 3 is provided a cylinder internal pressure sensor 15 to detect the cylinder internal combustion pressure, and an ECU 20. The ECU 20 calculates a combustion ratio MFB in predetermined timing based on the cylinder internal pressure detected by the cylinder internal combustion engine 15, sets ignition timing so that the combustion ratio MFB meets a target combustion ratio, and changes the target combustion ratio so that the torque change of the internal combustion engine 1 falls within the allowance range under a predetermined condition.
