PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biogas purification system which allows an intermittent operation with repeated operation/suspension by always keeping microorganisms carried on a packed layer in an active state. SOLUTION: The biogas purification system always keeps the microorganisms carried on the packed layer 11b in an active state by always maintaining the gas flow in a desulfurization column 11a by laying a circulation piping 25 connecting the outlet to the inlet of the desulfurization apparatus 11.
