<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security in entering facilities by double authentication which is obtained by combining the collation of facial image data by a computer with user confirmation by the visual recognition of an facilities attendant. <P>SOLUTION: When a user portable terminal 10 authenticates a user him/herself, the facial image data of the user registered in the storage part 12 of the user portable terminal 10 is transmitted to a facilities terminal 20. When the facilities terminal 20 authenticates the facial image data and the depression of a visual recognition button 25 by the facilities attendant is detected, admittance information is transmitted from the facilities terminal 20 to an entrance gate device 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
