PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging device which can efficiently discharge air bubbles in a filter chamber. SOLUTION: In the filter chamber 22 in which a filter 23 is arranged, ribs 26a-26d protruding from the internal wall of the filter chamber 22 are provided on the upstream side of the filter 23, and a pushing member 30 being a member which floats in ink is provided. The ribs 26a-26d are movable in the longitudinal direction of a guiding needle by engaging with guide groove sections 34a-34d which are formed on the side surface of the pushing member 30. When the ink is made to flow by a suction motion at the time of recovering motion, the pushing member 30 moves to the filter 23 by the flowing, and pushes out air bubbles in a space 28.
