PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic image development excellent in fixing property at low temperature and in blocking resistance of the toner, causing little warpage (curl) of paper in both side printing on thin paper, and having small process speed dependence of the fixing property, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image development contains a crystalline resin and at least one amorphous resin as a resin binder, and in dynamic viscoelasticity measurement by a sinusoidal oscillation method, when a measurement frequency is set to a range of 0.1-100 rad/s and a measurement strain to a range of 0.02-4.5%, a minimum value of relaxation modulus H in a relaxation spectrum obtained from frequency dispersion properties measured at 60°C and 80°C is in a range of 10-900 Pa/cm<SP>2</SP>, and a relaxation timeλcorresponding to the minimum value is in a range of 1-10,000 s.
