摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel control method and a system for a gas turbine engine shortening its starting time at initial start-up in the cold and improving startability of the gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: A fuel schedule includes a standard schedule and alteration schedules S1, S2 set to increase a fuel flow rate more than the standard schedule at engine start-up. When the engine is started, engine exhaust gas temperature immediately after the starting is detected by a temperature detector 22 and when the engine exhaust gas temperature is lower than predetermined temperature allowing judgment of the initial start-up in the cold, fuel is supplied according to the alteration schedules. The alteration schedules include a plurality of schedules set to vary the fuel rate according to the engine exhaust gas temperature at the starting, selects the schedule among the plurality of alteration schedules, which can shorten the engine starting time to the minimum within an extent causing no engine abnormality, and supplies fuel according to this schedule.
