PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer using a curled print paper P with a core set capable of sufficiently ensuring the flatness of the paper P at a print unit 4 without any suction device or with a compact suction device. SOLUTION: The paper P is bent in the direction opposite to the curl, and applies tension to the paper P to correct the curl by moving roller pairs 41 to hold a part in a vicinity of a tip of the paper P from the feed position to the receiving position by a moving mechanism after holding the tip of the paper P by a conveying roller 75 as a holding member, and the conveying roller 75 is held while holding the tip of the paper P with the force by which the tip of the paper P is not detached from the conveying roller 75 by the tension.
