PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for extruding frozen food such as soft ice cream, which has a simple structure, small size and inexpensive price, enables provision of various kinds of soft ice cream in accordance with customer's demand, and is structured so that the inside of the apparatus has no need to be washed. SOLUTION: The apparatus for extruding frozen food comprises at least a pair of pressure plate assembly disposed opposite to each other, a driving part bringing the pressure plate assembly closer to or apart from each other, a file wrapper holding part for holding a wrapping material where a frozen food is housed, and a driving part controlling device for controlling the driving part; and has such a structure that the pressure plate assembly has a plurality of movable projecting bodies.
