The ball bearing device (1) has a row of rolling elements (6) disposed between two raceways (3,5) of revolving (4) and non-revolving rings (2), respectively. A detection assembly, including a sensor assembly (12) and a coder (11), detects the rotational parameters. An annular elastic element (25) axially pre-stresses the bearing and is retained axially on the sensor assembly. The diameter of the elastic element is less than or equal to that of the bearing. Independent claims are given for: (a) the detection assembly described above; and (b) an electric motor comprising a rotor, a stator, and a ball bearing. |
