The device (1) has a hub (2) and a crown (3) with axial grooves extending entire length of a shaft of the hub and crown. The grooves regularly share entire outer and inner peripherals by forming teeth (213, 323) with the shaft of the hub and crown. A set of gears has impressions at its outer peripheral, such that the gears provide translation movement to the crown with respect to the hub. An Independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a mechanical transmission device.
