<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of surely restraining toner scattering from both ends in a width direction at the aperture of the developing device with comparatively simple constitution, and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device comprises case parts 58 and 59 equipped with the aperture at a position opposed to an image carrier 1; a developer carrier 51 carrying developer G and held by the case parts 58 and 59 so that it may be partially exposed from the aperture; and a flexible member 63 sealing the end in the width direction of the developer carrier 51, which is exposed at the aperture. The flexible member 63 is held by the case part 59 so that a downstream side of the flexible member 63 in the rotating direction of the developer carrier 51 at the aperture is a free end 63a, and the free end 63a may be movably inserted between the developer carrier 51 and the case part 58. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
