<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnosis supporting device for detecting an anomaly candidate shadow in a PET (positron emission tomography) image without depending on the kind of used medical agent. <P>SOLUTION: An RI accumulation area is designated (S21) which is extracted from PET data obtained by measurement using a PET device, the shape of each internal organ of a body under test is extracted and stored based on photographing data on the body under test obtained by a medical image photographing device, one of the stored internal organs is designated (S22), the shape of the designated internal organ is compared with the shape of the accumulation area (S23), and the accumulation area is detected as an anomaly shadow candidate if no similarity exists (S24). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
