<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine improving exhaust emission properties at a time of intake port injection under cold engine condition and suppressing accumulation of deposit on an injector tip part for cylinder injection. <P>SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine includes an injector 110 for cylinder injection injecting fuel in a cylinder and an injector 120 for intake port injection injecting fuel in the intake port. DI delivery pipe 130 receives fuel supplied from a high pressure fuel pump 155 from an upstream side and distributes the same to the injector 110 for cylinder injection. PFI delivery pipe 160 receives fuel passing through the DI delivery pipe 130 in an upstream side and distributes the same to the injector 120 for intake port injection. The DI delivery pipe 130 and the PFI delivery pipe 160 are mutually connected in series to position the DI delivery pipe 130 which receives larger heat quantity from the internal combustion engine in the upstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
