<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile device of attaching a run channel for an automobile door which contributes to the reduction in the number of man-hours and which is adaptable to many models. <P>SOLUTION: The device for attaching the run channel to the sash of the automobile door comprises a robot and a run channel attaching fixture 3. The robot is provided with a pair of arms, and the run channel attaching fixture is provided to each arm. The run channel attaching fixture 3 comprises a first gripping means 10, a pressuring means 11, an upper roller 12, a second gripping means 13, a rotative lower roller 14, and a sliding means 15. The first gripping means grips both of the corners of the run channel, and the pressuring means pushes and fits both of the corners of the run channel gripped by the first gripping means 10 in a corner part of an upper sash. Then the upper roller pushes and fits the run channel in the upper sash, and the second gripping means grips both of the ends of the run channel. Then the lower roller pushes and fits the run channel in a lower sash, and the sliding means sets the distance of the second gripping means 13 and the lower roller 14 from the first gripping means 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
